‘PG&E and San Jose's partnership to triple energy for data centers includes $2.6B investment’
- Silicon Valley Business Journal
On July 25, 2025, the City of San José and PG&E announced a first-of-its-kind Implementation Agreement that secures 2,000 megawatts of new transmission capacity, enough to power nearly 1.5 million homes, and positions San José as a premier hub for data centers. The agreement also establishes clear performance milestones, ensuring developers and the community can count on timely delivery of power.
Our team supported this milestone by developing visual infographics for the press conference, turning complex technical details into clear, accessible visuals that helped tell the story. Highlighting the scale of new capacity and the economic benefits for the city, the graphics made the announcement more tangible for both the media and the public.
